The Incense Journey™: Scent, Stillness, and the Subconscious

Step into an immersive experience where fragrance becomes more than aroma. It becomes a doorway. In this guided presentation and live hypnosis session, John Launius invites you to experience how all-natural, gently warmed botanical fragrances can quiet the mind, regulate emotion, and open access to deeper levels of awareness. As scent travels directly to the limbic system, the center of memory, emotion, and instinct, you will feel the shift from mental noise to grounded stillness. The evening unfolds in three phases: sensory preparation, guided exploration, and structured hypnosis. Through intentional inquiry and dialogue, you will notice how fragrance changes breathing patterns, focus, and internal state. Then, through a carefully crafted hypnotic process, you will experience firsthand how scent can deepen relaxation, increase receptivity, and enhance subconscious alignment. For the general public, this is an opportunity to release stress, reset the nervous system, and reconnect with a calm inner center. For hypnotists and helping professionals, this is a rare chance to observe and experience how sensory engagement can support pre-induction, deepen trance, and expand beyond words into multi-sensory influence. This is not aromatherapy. It is not a lecture. It is a live, immersive journey into stillness, guided by fragrance and structured hypnosis. You will leave grounded, clear, and aware of a powerful truth: when the senses are aligned, the subconscious listens differently.

Fragrance Hypnosis: Sensory Induction and Subconscious Precision

Most hypnotists work primarily through words. This experiential session demonstrates what happens when you engage the brain before the first formal suggestion is ever delivered. In this live presentation on Fragrance Hypnosis, John Launius will guide attendees through structured pre-induction processes, a focused induction, and a direct hypnotic experience using carefully selected, all-natural fragrances that are gently and indirectly warmed. These botanical materials are not used solely for ambiance or relaxation. They are used deliberately to engage the limbic system, influence emotional state, and prime subconscious receptivity. Participants will experience how olfactory input bypasses analytical resistance and conditions the nervous system for deeper trance. You will observe how sensory priming alters breathing patterns, shifts attention, increases suggestibility, and accelerates depth. The demonstration will illustrate how scent can support the establishment of authority, emotional regulation, and memory activation within a hypnotic framework. This is not aromatherapy. It is structured sensory conditioning applied to clinical hypnosis. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to: • Design pre-induction environments that increase responsiveness • Use scent to support induction and deepen trance • Integrate limbic engagement into existing hypnotic structures • Expand beyond verbal suggestion into multisensory influence Expect a precise, disciplined, and immersive experience that bridges neuroscience, ceremonial tradition, and practical hypnotic application. You will not only learn the theory. You will feel the mechanism at work.
