The Mind–Body Connection: Integrating Somatic Techniques Using Solution-Focused and Trauma-Informed Hypnosis

In this presentation, Jodie will explore the essential role of the mind–body connection in effective hypnotherapy, particularly when working with clients impacted by trauma, chronic stress, and entrenched behavioral patterns. Drawing from both solution-focused and trauma-informed somatic approaches, this session highlights how integrating body-based awareness with hypnotic techniques can create safer, more sustainable change. Attendees will learn how unresolved trauma often lives in the nervous system, and how somatic cues can guide hypnotic interventions without overwhelming the client. Through practical examples and clinical application, this presentation will demonstrate how to combine somatic tracking, nervous system regulation, and solution-focused hypnosis to support emotional regulation, reduce reactivity, and improve client outcomes. Participants will leave with concrete strategies they can immediately apply in sessions to deepen client safety, enhance subconscious responsiveness, and facilitate lasting transformation through an embodied and holistic hypnotherapy approach.
