Elman, Elman & Elman: 77 Years of Evolution Three Generations of Training. One Living Legacy.

This session explores the evolution of the Elman hypnosis training lineage from its formal beginnings in 1949—when Dave Elman began teaching doctors and dentists—through three generations of professional instruction. While the origins of the Dave Elman Induction date back to 1912, this presentation focuses on the training legacy that shaped modern hypnosis education and continues to influence practitioners today.

Through rare archival audio of Dave Elman, curated video excerpts of Larry Elman’s teaching and reflections, and live integration by Cheryl Elman—who trained alongside Larry and helped expand the work through conferences, classrooms, and modern platforms—attendees experience the lineage as a living system rather than a historical retrospective.

The 2025 Heartland Hypnosis Conference marked Larry Elman’s final live presentations before his passing, making this return especially meaningful. This session honors that continuity while emphasizing an essential truth: legacy remains alive through those who learn the work, use it, teach it, and thoughtfully evolve it.
