Ron Eslinger is a retired Navy Captain, owner Healthy Visions a Continuing Education Company, Clinton, Tennessee. He is founder and CEO of the American School for Clinical Hypnosis, International as well as the President and Founder of the American Association for Moderate Sedation Nurses and MyCEcredit.com. He is past President Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Ron has practiced clinical hypnosis professionally since 1978 and specializes in pain management. His hypnotherapy awards include Researcher of the Year 2003, Presenter of the Year 2004, Achievement Award 2005, Lifetime Achievement 2007, Educator of the Year 2008, the Charles Tebbetts award 2012 and the Richard L. North Trophy in 2014. He is a Fellow with the National College of Hypnotherapy United Kingdom and the National Guild of Hypnotists. Ron has presented to 1000’s of health care providers and hypnotists on the benefits of hypnosis as an adjunct to medicine, surgery and pain control.

He has served as: Senior Nurse Anesthetist, Senior Nurse Executive and as Hospital Executive Director during his career as well as Assistant officer in Charge on the USNS Mercy Navy Hospital Ship and Officer in Charge of the Branch Medical Clinic, Parris Island Marine Corps Depot, South Carolina.

Ron graduated from the HypnoBirthing Institute in January of 2001. He has participated in over 500 childbirths and C-sections using hypnosis only or as an adjunct to epidurals and C-sections.

Ron lectures and teaches internationally to Nursing, Anesthesia, Medical and Hypnosis Organizations. He writes a monthly article on wellness for the Anderson County Visions Magazine and is published in a number of professional nursing, anesthesia, hypnotherapy journals, books, CDs and DVDs.

Michael R. “Ron” Eslinger (RN, CRNA, MA, APN, Captain, USN Retired) serves as Owner/CEO of Healthy Visions and President/CEO of the American Association of Moderate Sedation Nurses, Inc. After beginning his military service in the US Army Reserves (1967-85), Mr. Eslinger became an officer and nurse anesthetist for the US Navy in 1985. His many assignments included Senior Nurse Executive and the Director for Patient Services, Naval Hospital Beaufort, SC (2001-03). From 1996 to 2001, Eslinger served as the Chief Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and Assistant Department Head for Administration, Anesthesia Department, US Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA where he founded and personally developed the Medical Center’s Complementary Care Clinic. This experience led to consulting positions with other medical centers such as Kaiser Permanete, Portland, Oregon; Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA; Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, NC; and Naval Hospital, Beaufort, SC. The idea of a private company of his own was born.

It was also at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth that Captain Eslinger developed the I.V. Conscious Sedation Training for Non-Anesthesia providers to meet Joint Commission Standards which since 2006 has been licensed by over 100 hospitals and certified over 6000 providers.

Built on the extensive professional and practical groundwork laid in military and consultative roles over the 32 years prior to its inception in 1999, Healthy Visions has been in operation for over 18 years. The company has succeeded in serving myriad corporate and organizational clients for a variety of purposes and touching the lives of thousands of individuals in all walks of life.
